Why We Do What We Do

Because we know how quickly life can change.

Just before Christmas 2025, we came close to losing everything. Not in a dramatic, movie‑style way — just the quiet, unsettling realisation that things you rely on can disappear faster than you expect. That experience stayed with us, and it changed what we wanted to build.

We do what we do to make things a little easier for others.

Our focus isn’t on perfection or pressure — it’s on fairness, care, and doing our best for people who might be having a tough time. We believe support should feel human, not awkward, and affordability shouldn’t come with judgement. That’s why we’re introducing a subsidy plan, so people can access help without having to explain themselves or feel uncomfortable.

We also believe in being thoughtful with what we have. Reducing waste matters to us, which is why surplus food is arranged to go to local animal parks. It feels better knowing what’s left over is still doing some good — and the animals seem to agree.
